The North Branch of the Kalamazoo River begins near Farewell Lake and joins the South Branch in Albion, Mich., to create the Kalamazoo River. The North Branch is part of the Kalamazoo River Watershed Council’s promotion and preservation efforts.
The map below contains about 29 miles of paddling with about 14 access sites. The river is mostly small with occasional marshy areas. There are several dams marked on the map.
