2013 Kanoe the Kazoo schedule

Join us for a 2 hour paddle down the Kalamazoo River as we celebrate the beautiful of this now free flowing section of the river. We will meet at Fannie Pell Park in Plainwell on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 1:00 pm to shuttle vehicles and sign-in. We plan to get on the river around 2:00 pm. Registration is recommended, but not required. REGISTER HERE

Kalamazoo TMDL meeting

Please join us on Thursday, May 16 from 9:00 – 11:00 am for our quarterly meeting of the Lake Allegan/Kalamazoo River Phosphorus TMDL Implementation Committee. We meet at the Kalamazoo Water Reclamation Plant at 1415 Harrison St., Kalamazoo, MI 49007.

Public forum on Michigan’s energy future

The Governor is seeking input on Michigan’s energy policy through a series of town hall style listening sessions. The State of Michigan website has a listing of all locations and dates. Our local listening session will be held at Western Michigan University’s Fetzer Center on Monday, March 18 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm in the Kirsch Auditorium.
